Update on the story earlyer today about the Tom Riddle Diary being sold on eBay.

The Diary has been sold for $1,900.00.(£1,041.50)

Also they also have a purple sleeping bag used in POA in the scene when the fat lady is attacked and the students have to sleep in the Great Hall.

I see from the photo the diary that sold was the one used for the special effects and not the one seen in the photo of Harry reading the diary in Gryffindor's common room. I would have liked to have bid on that one, but I couldn't afford the $1700.00 opening bid right now. Hopefully it didn't sell and will be available another time. It is the one prop from the Chamber of secrets I would really like to own.

I really want to bid for the sleeping bag and maybe if i can get some money from my parents and bid for the diary too

i would much rather have had the sleeping bag i love it purple is my fav colour.

BTW: the sleeping bag did sell no one put a bid in on it.

IF ONLY I WAS RICH!!! i would love to own anything hp-related besides the books/posters lol. thats quite a lot of money. congrats to whoever wins and good luck to the people bidding!!!
