Universal Japan to open Wizarding World of Harry Potter first-ever Christmas events Universal Studios Japan announced that they will unveil the first ever Christmas-themed Wizarding World of Harry Potter, with massive Christmas tree in the middle of Hogsmeade village, set to take place from November 18, 2016 to January 9, 2017 in the city of Osaka. In addition to the tree - which can be lit up with a bit of wand-specific magic - hot Butterbeer will be introduced to attraction (one only available in its warm version at Universal Orlando Resort), as well as a Christmas-themed dinner.
