| | |  Underwater shot of GoF cast/crew + Dan's Christmas letter
DanRadcliffe.com are reporting that Dan sent them an early copy of his Christmas card that he will be sending out to fans.
He included a picture from the last day of filming the underwater scenes at Leavesden Studios. Note: The girl stood next to Dan Radcliffe is NOT Emma Watson, it is, apparently, Clemence Poesy who is playing Fleur Delacour. If you look closely you can also see two people in Hufflepuff shirts as well as Radcliffe himself in the centre with a Gryffindor shirt on.
It has been suggested that Dan, Robert (Cedric), Clemence and Robert's stunt double (as there are two people wearing Huffelpuff tops) appear in the photo. However, the girl could also be a mermaid, or another stunt double.
Plus it must also be remembered that Angelica (Gabrielle), Emma (Hermione), Rupert (Ron) & Katie (Cho) would all be fully clothed as in the books they're taken to Dumbledore's Office and put to 'sleep' there. It is therefore most likely to be Clemence or a crew member as the only others in the tank would be Dan, Stanislav and Robert.

The letter Dan is sending to fans can be seen here - he once again asks fans NOT to send him gifts but to make donations (however big or small) to Demelza House, a charity he supports and helps promote. Quote:

I wonder how Dan would be breathing down there - possibly borrowing someone's breathing kit before/after the shot was taken?
If you notice, his wand is strapped to his leg.
I wonder why he didn't give himself a red nose.
Also take a good look at the background - blue screen with crosses. What does that mean? Yup, you've got it, major exploitage of CGI will feature in this scene!!

The girl with the swimsuit on also has a crest (the others in colour have Hogwarts crests on their tops) only this one looks different (it's black and peeping out from behind the clapper). My guess is she's probably Clemence, it's completely plausible for her to wear that seeing as she isn't a minor although I actually never imagined Fleur swimming in a bathing suit as the others didn't either.
Harry was meant to swim in his robes - but perhaps those clothes are Hogwarts undergarments?! lol It's a possibility! Gryffindor vest and boxers! hahaha That would explain how he'd be prepared cos he had no idea about the task before hand and could've just stripped down to his undergarments.
I dunno, I try to make sense of it all and end up sounding rather weird. Go figure.

i look at the girl in bikini..and what runs through my mind always is Cho...but like the book, the 'victims' were in their school robes cause they were put to sleep and straightaway sent to the lake...as far as i remember... Quote:

hehe they look so funny underwater, Dan isn't evem recognizible. And is that Clemence, really? But in the books is she in a swimsuit? I dun remeber anything about that, but my memory is sorta fading so you never know, and about the guys in the Hufflepuffs shirt I'm guessin one of them is Robert (Pattison?)

i love that pic!! since it has a lot of people in it, you find yourself looking at it for awhile.
some people don't think that the girl next to dan is clemence, but lots of blondes look like they are brunette when their hair is wet. i really think that it is clemence. who else could it be?
i'm really looking forward to getting that pic in the mail!! it does look like dan is wearing boxers...... but doesn't he wear his robes into the lake? oh well...... thanks for the pic!! funny stuff!!!

Hee hee hee  Thanks for the pic! I also wonder why he didn't give himself a red nose.. hmm. LOL I love the suggestion of Hogwarts underwear. I have a feeling it could be another hugely lucrative marketing ploy  But I see conspiracies everywhere... like, who is that girl!? (I think it MUST be Clemence, but who knows?) So much speculation, yet I can't wait for the movie!

It's not Hermione. We know that for sure.
They cant use robes. In the books it works but in water it wouldn't, they'd be going all over the place and it'd prolong filming for weeks if not months. Hogwarts underwear (well that's what it looks like to me) seems just as reasonable -- it shows they didn't know about the task before hand but at the same time aren't restricted in their swimming.
That girl could also be a stunt double or crew member or diving instructor or lifeguard. We don't know for sure.
