* Two-legged dog wont be in Goblet of Fire - Faith wont be in the film Summary:
Two-legged dog wont be in Goblet of Fire Article: HPANA has confirmed that Faith, the two-legged dog rumoured to be considered for a role in Goblet of Fire, has unfortunately not been chosen. Faith's owner, Jude Stringfellow, gave an explanation: Quote: We can't be in the fourth film because it is almost wrapped and we can't even come to the UK until she is microchipped and monitored by a vet for at least a month. If she is given a role it would be a later film. Goblet of Fire has not been wrapped - filming has only been going for a few months therefore it has been suggested that the message meant that all animal related scenes have been filmed.
Previous articles on the matter can be found here and here. |

The dog might have a special part in OOTP.

I personally havent heard of Faith either but it would be nice to see her in the movie. And im probably sure that all the animal related scenes are done considering that most of them are probably CG since the producers couldnt find dragons, mermaids, and other assorted creatures. |

Combined with the fact that animals have smaller working hours than the actors (children can only spend 3/4 hours acting a day) I think it's 2 for animals. They do use real ones when they can but obviously because of labour laws they have to try and do them as quick as possible and there's probably alot of paperwork to do with it too.

Faith is adorable, and I love animals... but, I don't know how I'd feel about her being in the film. I think it would be a bit distracting having a two-legged dog in a movie about magic. In a way, I'm glad.

Well I was kinda hoping the dog would not be in the film because they didnt have one in the book.

| hindsight bias!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(we already know the answer so we cant remember what we originally thought at first). Sooo you can't really remember what you originally felt like/thought about since you already know he didn't make it. Sorry, everyone has it.
(After all.. things that were not in the book have been included in the movies -- such as the car almost crashing in the train tracks, the candy at the dorms.. -- as well as changing who says what when -- like hermione fixing Harry's glasses when the person who does it is Mr. Weasley in book 2.)
Anyhow, I wonder if they mentioned why they didn't include him.. Maybe they had too much footage?

| I suppose that it is for the best. It would of been a shame to have teken advantage of her disability like that. But i suppose that anyone would be anything to get a part in the movie, i mean i would do anything for a part but i have no talents and i cant act!

i am glad that the dog wont be in it as it would make the film look tacky and highly unprofessional. Quote: I hope he wont be put down I do! | |

Animals can live with disabilities too, and this dog has made the most of his!
