| | |  Tom Felton wins Best Villain 2010 MTV Movie Award; completes Deathly Hallows filming
Of the five categories in which Harry Potter was nominated at this year's MTV Movie Awards, only one came out as a winner: Tom Felton. Tom, who was nominated as Best Villain for his role as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, came out victorious tonight. Photos of Tom on stage with his award can be seen in our galleries. 
The video of Tom receiving the award can be viewed below. Congratulations to Tom for getting the recognition! UPDATE: Tom spoke to MTV on the red carpet, where he confirmed that his girlfriend, Jade Gordon, would indeed be playing Astoria Malfoy in the Deathly Hallows epilogue (strongly rumoured to be so in the photos released two weeks ago). Tom also confirmed that he completed Deathly Hallows filming three days ago. Quote:
"The producers actually came to me about six months ago and asked me, and I was like, OK, I'll ask her. She was slightly reluctant but I pulled her arm and twisted it and then she was filming with me for three days at King's Cross," he said.
Also, a brand new clip from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts I and II was aired during tonight's ceremony; that can be seen here.

You know...I'm probably going to get stoned for this but Tom didn't deserve this award. It should've gone to Christoph Waltz but then again this is the MTV Movie Awards and the target audience probably didn't watch the movie Christoph Waltz was in. Congrats to Tom though :]

Woohoo! Congrats Tom!  I was watching him last night at the awards giving his speech and I'm glad that he(and harry potter) won at SOMETHING!  Most people that voted were twilight lovers. That even won best movie and I was like are you serious?!? Harry Potter or the Hangover(I'm sorry I love that movie) should've won!

Congrats to Tom though :] I hadn't even looked to see who else was running for the award until my brother asked me and when I saw that he beat out Christoph I was stunned. He was amazing in Inglorious B. and I agree that he deserved the award as well. I suppose the MTV Movie Awards probably does attract a younger audience and a lot of voters probably didn't see the movie. That is the only reason I can think of as to why he didn't win.

Whilst Voldermort was an enemy to everyone, Draco was mainly against Harry and his friend's since he was on the wrong side.
