| | |  Tom Felton wants to do more HP films
Last weekend Tom Felton attended the 2005 Junior Carp Tournament on the St. Lawrence River in New York. Whilst he was there he spoke about ' Goblet of Fire' and said he'd loved to do more Potter films. Quote:
I’ll keep doing it as long as they want me to. I’m not overly fussed, it’s not my 100 per cent chosen life career. If they do decide to get a new cast, it’s OK, fair enough, on to bigger and better things, but as long as they want me to do it I’m more than happy to trailer on.

It wouldn't be the same without Tom Felton. After all his like the best in been bad, plus we are already too used to him. I would love to see him finish the seven movies same as the other actors

So happy, I'm actually bouncing on my chair right now...I was so sad when I first heard the rumor that he might want to stop playing Draco because he wanted to concentrate on fishing...But honoustly, I don't know anybody who would want him to quit. Plus, I think that WB would make a huge mistake if they want to change the cast because they're too old or too tall...I mean, heck, if 28-year-olds can play 16-year-olds in Hollywood....then I think we can enjoy seeing the current cast throughout the entire series...(that is of course, if the cast still wants to, which I really really really hope)...

Wow, I didn't even consider that characters might be changed he's perfect for the role of Draco, I can already imagine him acting out his role in HBP.
Who would evn think of letting ANY of them go. I still haven't got used to the new Dumbledore, the old one is still in my mind.

I'm glad Tom wants to stay and to be perfectly honest with you, I hope the whole cast stays, but getting back to Tom, it would be very hard to see someone else play Malfoy because Tom plays him so well.

I know what you mean. Tom is Draco now. Not real enough to spring a spell on you when you walk around the corner. But he's put his mark on him. Its really weird how Toms character and the guy who plays Lucius REALLY look like they could be father and son! I cant get over that!

Sounds good to me. I think he does a great job portraying dear Malfoy and I can't say I'd like to see somone else play him. I'd be afraid that they wouldn't do as good of a job, you know?

He's great at playing Draco, but from what I've seen of him in interviews he lacks personality in real life, in fact he's a bit dull. I don't mean to be horrible, but i expect a bit more charm and sparkle in celebrities. I mean - fishing! You don't get much duller than that! (Well except for maybe crown green bowling!) He's so thin, too, lately! Eat some of those fish Tom, before you waste away!
(P.S. I do think he's quite a nice lad really!)

How exciting. I was reading on Veritaserum that there was a 50% chance that he would stay and it made me upset. I hope all, if not, most of the cast stays. It just wouln't be the same if they replaced any of the main characters. And yes, I consider Draco a main character. It also said that if he looks too old that they might recast him. But, at least Tom wants to do more movies. Yea!

It will really really hard to replace Tom if he ever gets recast which i hope he doesn't.
Because everyone around the world has grown to tom playing draco. He does the best job in playing the bad boy and I do hope he does all the films. I will just die if he gets replaced coz i think he is a HOTTIE!!!!!

He should do all the HP films he's a perfect draco and he is so hot. The whole cast is exellent but i do miss the old dumbledor richard harris was so how i thought dumbledor would be he even had his look and voice he looked so wise the new dumbledor is ok but he isn't really wise enough.

I agree about the cast changing. I think it would be hard to watch the films without the same cast. At least, especially with the main group. But I do think that Michael Gambon does a fine Job with Dumbledore. And if I hadn't been paying attention to the news about the switch because of Richard Harris' death, I would not have known the difference.
