Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films has made another web-blog update. Article: Tom Felton talks about getting his GCSE results
Tom Felton has updated his blog to answer a few questions and ponder on a dilemma concerning his GCSE results which he'll get, like everyone else his age in the UK, on the 26th of this month. Quote: Have you ever tried to hire a video/dvd for your mum without her being there? A friend and I went to the video shop and I told my mum I would get a video for her as she wasn't doing much that night. She said to get one without violence, bad language, drugs, shoot outs etc!! You know a nice tame one! But she'd seen all the tame ones so I had to keep phoning her from the shop asking her if she'd seen all these films I'd picked. Eventually found one about a family in a castle and she liked it, so good result. My film was rubbish but hers was OK! Some you win, some you lose! Quote: Only a week to go before the big exam results! And I will be in Oxford! So what do I do? Get my mum to go to school and pick up the envelope with the results and phone me or wait til I get home! Haven't decided what to do yet! Quote: I have 3 brothers, no sisters. Jonathan is 24, Chris is 23 next week, Ashley is 21 in 3 weeks time. I don't have any pets because my mum works full time and it wouldn't be fair to leave a pet. Quote: Thanks to Samantha Vorig from Illinois for the embroidered T F.Hope the cake that Asta made in Lithuania was good! Rohini's picture was really good of me next to my pond. Shame about the Hershey Kisses but they would melt!
Thanks to Aranya in India for the letter ( nice envelope!). Happy carping to Christine in Malaysia and thanks for the friendship bracelet - really loved your poem.
Katarsyna in Poland sent me a brilliant drawing of a bear and a 4 leaf clover - hope it brings me luck! Thanks very much. Also Rebecca from Meadow Brook in Arizona sent me a nice letter with lovely drawings. Quote: Do Daniel and I get on? Answer is yes - we talk films quite a lot. Leila in Fureau, France asked what role I would like to play if offered after Harry Potter films- I would love to play an action film with lots of special effects and a fit girl in it would be rather nice! Quote: Just to let you know I do not have an e mail address so DON'T RESPOND TO ANYONE SAYING THEY ARE ME. Please don't give out any of your personal information to anyone on the net or Instant Messenger or take phone calls from anyone saying it's me. If fans get a phone call, it's from my mum and she's genuine. Source: Tom Felton via Veritaserum. |

Is it sad that I'm more anxiously awaiting hearing about a fictional character's test results than Tom Feltons? Give me Harry Potter and his OWLS any day! lol.
I'm just kidding, Felton Fans - I hope he does well, goes to a great university, gets a good job, becomes fabulously wealthy and marries one of you swooning fan girls. There, that fantasy should keep plenty of you busy.

Hope he did well! Good luck to him!,hope he makes it to Oxford. It would be great if he did but he might not film for Harry Potter anymore 'cause he has to go to Oxford and I heard it's realy difficult and you have to study real hard. My friend's cousin went there and sometimes she has to study real real hard, one time she slept at 3:00am cause of all that studying for tests of something. Tom might not be able to still act for Harry Potter, hope he still can. He's too cute to lose for the film. :(

Aww bless him, I remember going up for my GCSE results last year! I hope he does good
I think it'd be good to see him as a 'good guy' but he IS Draco Malfoy, and no-one can change that |

I'm very curious to find out what (if any, acting being a time-consuming thing) universities all of the cast go to, not that any of them really need it, particularly Chris Rankin. It's too early to know yet, though- Tom won't be applying for university until 2006 if I remember the UCAS procedures right. Still, to go to Oxford or Cambridge, they say any pupil with at least 5 GCSE A grades should consider applying (if they do the course you're after mumble mutter grr). He's still got two more years of exams after this, and they keep changing what they're called (A-levels, AS, followed by A2 levels, now something called AE levels ). Wonder what subjects he might fancy taking...
He's really good to his fans, though, isn't he? He really seems to care about them, and make sure they don't get pulled in by hoaxes. Aww, such a sweet guy.

Then again he could be going there for university.
OMG am I the only other SS member getting their GCSE results next week as well as tom? I'm incredibly nervous! Raah. Less than a week to go.

Is he really going to Oxford? Or is he being sarcastic? I'm confused. *drools* Oxford is quite near Surrey and he means the area not the University, he's too young for Uni.

Now I get it.
Christchurch College is in Oxford and that is where they film the Great Hall scenes for HP. In other words they're shooting scenes there next week if he's gunna be in Oxford at that time.
Dunno - just an 'educated' guess.

How big of a deal are the GCSE's? I'm an American, so I don't really know the United Kingdom's schooling system... are they like the SATs or something?
And good luck to Tom, and anyone who is receiving their results soon!
