| | |  Timothy Spall to shoot Half-Blood Prince soon, will return in Deathly Hallows
In an interview with Moviehole to promote his newest film, Sweeney Todd, Timothy Spall (Pettigrew), has stated that he starts filming Half-Blood Prince soon and that he will be in Deathly Hallows. Quote:
“Well I'm actually.... yes... I'm in the next one”, reveals the British actor. ''And I'm also in the one at the end – I have a very big scene in that. I think they might be shooting two of them back-to-back – hard to know though, what with this writer's strike and all. They're shooting the penultimate one at the moment – which I have a brief appearance in it. I should be doing that soon.''

Fabulous news, of course. Sometimes I'm surprised some of these actors only sign up for the movie when they know they'll only be working for at most a week and will have just seconds of screen time. Still, for Potter, the sacrifices made is really something.
I also think that WB made most of the regulars sign two-movie contracts before HBP started, which would be very smart on their part. | |

Not necessarily. Kloves hasn't started the DH script because of the strike. What Spall is saying, I think, is that he intends to do the film. Quote:

Wouldn't that be hard to do with a) no script, b) no director and consequently c) no shooting schedule? Basically all it'd say is we intend to make the film, eventually, will you do it? Quote:

Without a break in between, but nothing's been confirmed yet about the length of DH. We know HBP and DH won't be shot that way because of the actor's established schedules for this year. | |
