Post Thousands petition against the end of Potter
Waterstone's have launched a website with an online petition (saveharrypotter.co.uk) against the end of Harry Potter. The campaign is designed to encourage J.K.Rowling to write further novels.

I won't be signing it. As far as I'm concerned, decisions such as this are Jo's alone. I find this whole charade arrogant, disrespectful and rude.

I love Harry Potter. I cannot believe it's ending already. But honestly...this is ridiculous. Even if those petitions were made and completely filled out, I don't think they'd do anything. Jo is not the kind of person who will let rude and self-centered people plus a stupid petition push her around. She knows she has a choice of whether or not to continue the series and if she wants to end it, good for her. She's made her decision already and nothing will change that. All these petitions are a complete waste of time and will not get anyone anywhere.
