Third movie: Ron and Hermione hug, hold hands

USA Today have a very interesting article about tne new film, featuring exclusive bits of information about what will appear on our screens. Here are some of the best bits:

Quote:
HERTFORDSHIRE, England — Hermione gets to wear jeans and — ugh — hold hands with Ron. Harry is one angry 13-year-old wizard. And his supernatural foes are even more ominous this time.
Quote:
It took me three films to get Hermione in jeans," says Emma Watson, who plays her. "To get out of the robes with the tights and the itchy jumpers. Whoo-hoo!"
Quote:
hormonal changes that come with being a teen will be visible on screen, and they're also evident in exchanges between the young actors on the set. There's much discussion of crushes and break-ups. Watson interrupted an interview to share a whispered gossip with a crewmember about a cute guy.

When Hermione takes Ron's hand in a scene, Watson makes a quintessential 13-year-old grimace. The movie called for "some embarrassing hugging to be done. With Ron (Rupert Grint). We have kind of a love-hate relationship."
Quote:
"The hormones are buzzing, and so is their anger about things," says Cuarón. "And rather than repressing those things, it's about letting it flow. It's not about encouraging it, but just letting it be. ... I didn't want those emotions very polished. Sometimes they got carried away. I would let them. I didn't want them to be neat. I wanted it a little raw."

Quote:
She decks Harry's Hogwarts foe, the ultra-obnoxious Draco Malfoy, after he sneeringly insults her mixed heritage (she's a wizard with human parents) and nearly causes the execution of a harmless hippogriff. After Hermione slugs Malfoy, she exclaims, "That felt good!"

It's a move that Azkaban audiences are likely to cheer, and the punch proved therapeutic in easing Watson's newly developed teen angst.

"It was great fun," Watson says. "We did a couple of takes, and I was saying 'Come on, come on, let's do it again.' "

Don't worry Marcella, H/Hr shippers will find a way to prove that it's all a conspriacy! Joking!

Why would they hold hands? Maybe when she gets scared she grabs him?

Grr yeah I know Lupin. haha Urrmm I was wondering that too, maybe it's only like a one second thing either when she's scared or when they hug and make-up after the Scabbers/Crookshanks escapade.

Ahem! I know you're going to kill me, but when did Rowling say they are going to get together? She said that D/H won't be, but nothing about R/H or H/H... Anyway, the movie now seems to be about hormones, not Sirius. > Honestly! (I really don't CARE if you ban me, Marcella!)

And karen_ginger you should read the books more. The potions master often sits next to the DADA teacher.

very cool pics... but Buckbeak's NOT a flying horse that nobody can see. Malfoy got a pretty good look at him after all, and he's not a horse.

I thought that they were deleting the hugging scene from the movie.
But it would be great if they included it.

Aaw, cute
But, they're thirteen in the movie, so I think it would be more news if there was going to be no hugging/holding hands.

Exactly, hail the Good Ship (R/Hr). This isn't really a shipping forum, but the reason I ship R/Hr is because they mirror Harry's parents relationship and he will eventually get to see how his parents fell inlove through Ron and Hermione...it's sweet...

Yeah its the Thestral (sp?) that you cant see unless someone has died. Someone needs to set those people straight. lol

Anybody notice the caption on picture 2. It reads, Harry takes Buckbeak, a flying horse that is invisible to all but those who have witnessed death, for a ride. Um, thats wrong, Buckbeak is not a Thestral, its a Hippogriff.

But it's not in the book! Why are they posing Ron & Hemione in a relationship in the films, when it's not in the book?
