Pottermore.com’s Magical Quill Scavenger Hunt has launched the third round of registrations, giving fans worldwide the opportunity to have early access by answering a question from the third book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

For those who have found the question and managed to register, you may discuss the question/answer in this thread but please put your comments in a spoiler tag to avoid spoiling other fans. [*spoiler=Pottermore Magical Quill Day Three]Answer text[*/spoiler] – but remove the asterisks (*)

Do NOT post the link of the page the Magical Quill challenge directs to! Also: make sure your adblock is disabled, or you won't be able to see the quill.

Once registered, you may also insert your Pottermore name into your SnitchSeeker profile, if you would like to, by following this link and completing the field titled "Pottermore Username".

SnitchSeeker will continuously update with news on Pottermore every day of this week, including when the new clues are released. Wednesday’s question will revolve around the fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, so it may be worth refreshing your knowledge of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons (for who knows what the question will be).

Note: If you've answered the clue and been able to register and validate your account, you are done with this stage of the Pottermore experience. You do not need to register again; the next part is to await the Welcome Email for the Pottermore beta site, which will be sent anytime between August 7 to September 30, 2011.

UPDATE 2: The Pottermore Insider blog has been updated, answering some more commonly asked questions and also giving a hint on when tomorrow's Clue will be revealed.

I have seen people offering to register early access accounts for others. Is it safe to give my personal details to someone who is offering this service?
Absolutely not. You should never share personal details online unless you are certain how they will be used and protected. Also, please note that the transfer of Pottermore accounts is expressly prohibited in The Magical Quill promotion Terms & Conditions.

Is there any update on the Yahoo! Mail issue?
This has now been resolved and everyone who registered with a Yahoo! Mail account on Sunday or Monday should now have received their validation email.

This is just my feeling or what I do not know why ,I feel the quil that is given every day increased hours, because yesterday was not at this hour

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I caught it when the third book was releasing. My brother threatened to beat me up if I didn't read the first book before going to see the movie, and then I was hooked. But still, if you can manage to watch all the movies and like them, I see no reason why you wouldn't want to read the books, where things just about always make more sense.

this is really sad but i didnt read the books until after the first half of DH....i know im a horrible person.

I was extremely close to doing it on no sleep, even took a nap in the middle of the day, but I was forced to go to sleep by my parents, and now I'm glad I was.

Haha, no, you just caught on late, that doesn't make you a horrible person at all. I have friends who don;t even like Harry Potter but of course they aren't horrible people.

I think we waited a very long time every day. because the time increases everyday, yesterday at 5 pm Indonesia time was now 9 pm Indonesia time. but its Quil appeared yet, I'm intrigued by question number 4

Actually I went to see HP1 and HP2 with an ex gf in the cinema as she forced me. I just used it to fall asleep! ha ha

Then i was home one day at xmas, and say the first movie, and loved it. Im lucky as I have poor imagination, but seeing the movie help.

I think that reading the books for me

I enjoyed 3 the most and 5 the least.

The movies are awful for me, 1 and 2 are the best. I really hated the 6th movie, they ruined the end.

Ive even been to the HP musuem in Hollywood!

Can you imagine that? Just shows you the power of books!
