Snitchseeker.com presents a Harry Potter fan's dream... A Multi-Player Make-Your-Own-Adventure with Dozens of Winners and Prizes!
Here's your chance to become part of a worldwide collaboration to create a new Harry Potter Adventure! Written, voted on and chosen entirely by you -- the fans! With bragging rights and killer prizes for the winners! Plus, lots of bonus prizes will be awarded along the way to both writers and voters so everyone has a chance to win!
The Contest begins in late-August. But before the fun can begin, we need your input! Visit the new forum: The Potter Project now to discuss what kind of story we want to create! Here's How It Works:
Made possible by some amazing new software called FanLib, the contest works like a democratic "chain fanfic." Each week is a "Round" in which our moderator posts a "Mission" that briefly outlines what should happen in the upcoming scene to be created.
After a minimum number of scenes are submitted, the Preliminary Voting begins. Later in the week, a small handful of Finalists will compete in Final Voting. When the Round is over at the end of the week, a single winning Scene will become part of the story (its author gets a prize!) and a new Round will begin. This cycle repeats for several weeks until the story is complete. Then, a lucky player from among the weekly winners will be awarded the Grand Prize.

Dude! Thats really cool! I cant wait... it should be really interesting to see how people add on and what mischief they lead Harry, Ron and Hermione into! Im just gonna throw this in but i miss paco and i think ill leave it at that. |

I'm confused. On the thing where u can come in here it said that u had to make an adventure and then in HERE it says you have you make a scene. Which one is right?  | |

That sounds neat...but lemma ask a question, right it's like you have to add a scene or something, and people vote who's scene is the best, and then they choose the winner?
i just wanted to know but b-leave me, i have waited all my life to actually be in a contest that you win awards...i love to write

This sounds cool! I'm gonna try and enter...even though I probably won't get very far...I mean...writing is fun for me and something I love to do...but you know...it's kind of an extra thing, not my passion. BUT I'M UP FOR IT!!!!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :up: :up:  B) :mrgreen:

How are you going to chose the authors who are going to write the fan-fics? Or are all of them going to write?

well, we're still deciding on the outline.. go to the Potter project poll and see the ideas. if you would like to post in more ideas just post there.
after the moderators decide an outline of the story, the moderators will post every week a "mission" which includes all what we have to write for the chapter of that week, we post and other members vote and the best fanfic writer gets chosen to compete another final round... and then if he/she wins they get a prize...
anyone (that is members of ss) can participate.
i think thats the thing.. as far as i've understood. do keep in with the ideas!!!! they're really good!!
