| | | The Times Online reviews 'Goblet of Fire' The Times Online has published its review of ' Goblet of Fire' giving the film three stars out of five. Quote:
What’s fresh about the Goblet of Fire is the intriguing tension between the feeble and the strong. This has always been Rowling’s tug of war. The playground duels between Harry and his peers are as bitter as ever, but there’s a delicious sense of anarchy about boarding school life. For the first time we sense what makes Harry tick under pressure.
Quote:
The red-herrings are worth hanging on a wall. Brendan Gleeson’s Mad-Eye Moody is the latest loose cannon on the staff. It’s impossible to fault the shades; I’d like to bid for the marble eyeball.

| For the Times Online that's really good!! I don't care for their star opinion though.. I'll take Jonathon Ross's opinion of it.. It's cool about Moody's eye. |

Bahahaha, I love when they spell her name wrong, you always get interesting results. I never bother with reviews normally, I hate to say it but most of the 'reviewer favorites' send me to sleep.

3 out of 5 how do they justify that :-( my opinion is that when i see a review if its not to good then that means i am going to love it so i hope this is the same :-)

| 3/5 seems right
While I think the movie is going to be fabulous, I think 3 or 3.5 stars is probably what I would give it if I were a good reviewer of movies. As a fan I would probably give it 4. I'll wait for the movie for my final prediction of course but unless the character developments are good, movies tend to get low ratings from me. Fortunately, it looks like GoF may be attempting some of the development that PoA did not. I'll have to wait and see |

What a really good review. You don't find many well-written reviews like this. I wish they would've focused on some of the other aspects of the story than just them growing up though.

Meh so what if he gives the film 3 of 5 stars? I never go by what a critic says. I have to see the film for myself first...

I don't care much about the star rating, but it's a good review in general.

don't listen to what 50 year old men reviewers say about it. Really, before every Harry movie I am always prepared for the oddball reviews and I know not to listen to them. As long as we like it -that's all that matters.

3??? What the -? I haven't seen the film yet but I'm sure it's a 5 out of 5!

Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.

Now seriously can when take a review when they don't even spell a character's name right? hahahaha....
And for once I would really like to hear them talk about some aspect of the movie other than the same old 'They kids are really growing up....'

3 is really good for a paper like The Times. Only really excellent films get 4 and I've never heard of them awarding a 5.

Yeah, why only 3 stars? I'd have thought that GoF would have gotten more...well, maybe Times Online has really high expectations.
