Post The Boy Who Lived Saves Kids

The world of Harry Potter has done a lot to make all of our lives better. After all, he has turned many of us on to reading, but did you know that the 'boy who lived' also saves kids from serious accidents? New research published in The Scotsman shows that there was a decrease in hospital emergency department visits for kids aged 7 to 15 years on the weekends which Harry Potter books were published.

Quote:
Writing in today's edition of the British Medical Journal, they say they found that the number nearly halved on the two weekends in June 2003 and July 2005 when "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" were published.

Aww,how..um,safe. So kids are reading instead of involving themselves in dangerous play stunts...that's certainly GOOD to know....but,what about the non-publishing days?
