The Scottish leg of the Tales of Beedle the Bard book launch contest has now started, with the Edinburgh Evening news offering ten schools the chance to send kids to listen to Jo read from the book & answer questions. Twenty children from each school, between the ages of 8 - 11, will be permitted to attend. The closing date for this competition is November 10th. Hopefuls can enter via text or by using a form from the newspaper.

Scholastic previously released details concerning how American fans can participate in the competition. That contest closed as of October 30th.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard will be available for purchase from December 4th or you can preorder from the links below.
