I am working on a new, more colorful skin. One to better match what we had before. It will be called "SS Classic" and should be up in 3 hours or so.
I also want to explain what has happened to the posts and members.
We have gone through our lists and found that close to 30,000 of our members haven't logged in since they registered, and have ZERO posts. So we decided it was in the best interest of the site to erase them from our lists.
So now, the member count us down from 50,000 to a mere 20,000 or less.
This is good because now it gives a more even resemplance of how mane active members we have.
Also, we have removed all the old chat threads and nonsense threads. A total of over 300,000 posts were erased.
This is why so many of you notice that your post count has gone down.
Don't worry, we don't plan to do any mass-deleting for a long time now. But it was high time we did since it has been over a year since our last spring cleaning.
Mr. Squally is working on the Front Page dynamics and then will turn to the News system and the side blocks. The Gallery will follow shortly, as well as our countdown pages and other custom pages.
We have been very hard at work for this HUGE move and change, and expect it to take no more than another week or two - at which point I'm positive you all will agree that SS is the best HP Community on the web.

I can't wait to see the new skin. The green was sort of depressing
I was wondering why my post count had gone down. Half of them were in the Chat Threads anyway, so that is probably why. It's alright though. I could start off fresh now.
Good luck with the site !!! I know it will turn out great in the end.

Thank you for returning the blue skin. It makes the new site setting seem more like home. I, also, like the option of choosing skins. Hmm...House skins? Blue for Ravenclaw, Green for Slytherin, Scarlet for Gryffindor, and Yellow for Hufflepuff.

I like the green colour, but it´s good to have some alternate lay outs. House colours is a good idea, thank you. But I miss those house tags (or what do you call them) under the sorted people´s avatars. Wonder if they´re gonna come back?
