| | | Spy Report from Darkmark.com... - updates from Darkmark.com Summary:
This is what I got from Darkmark.com.. : "Alrighty folks, I have just received an email from a reliable source of mine, who to date has never been wrong about the goings on in the HP world. Here is what I was informed of." Article:
-Do not believe the rumors about PoA being "sexed up." The film's script reflects only what JK wrote, no added relationships will be thrown in the mix.
-2/3rds of the principal photography has been shot. David Thewlis and Gary Oldman are only days away from finishing, until November that is, when pickups will be done.
-The first trailer is completed and expect to see a special 30 second clip of it pop up soon.
In regards to book 6, he only had one thing to share.
-Word around work this week, is that JK publicly said "Harry sustains a minimal but lasting injury in this book." It is also reported to be roughly just under the length of GoF and will most likely be done by early January. (The first draft.).
:sorcerer: This means that Book Six will be coming VERY soon!.... :sorcerer: DarkMark.com |

omg minimal but lasting injury?!? What could that entail? hmmm maybe he limps or something in the next books. Or maybe he wont be able to play quidditch again . From what JKR has said in past interviews though she doesnt reveal anything about the books to anybody, so maybe this might not be true. I guess we all just have to wait patiently.. :online2long:

I can not believe that there should be a first draft of book 6 by january. From all the other stuff i was reading on the net they were saying that book six wouldnt be out until almost 2004. That is so cool. Is this source really reliable? I hope so!!!!!!!!

maybe, if this is true, it could be emotional injury, because most injurys can be fixed cant they? well mostly, so maybe something minimal happens to him emotionally but it is a lasting memory...maybe still recovering about Sirius. thats sometimes really annoys me in peoples fanfics how it doesn't come up much... o well
cheers

omg!!!!!!
it is so cool !!!!
i read the fifth bokk 3 times already and i just can't for the sixth!!!
but on the other hand the 6th book is one book before the last book!!! i couldn't possibley live wiyhout the book!!!
lets see about the injury i hope it's nothing mental... hate it when heros (as human as they maybe) have emotionale woonds(if that's how you write it)
do you think it will have something to do with his scar... not a new one but something happening to his old?
maybe it will hert all the time?(waut that's already happened) but maybe it wikl glow or somrthing? |

Now I cannot wait to get my grubby little hands on that Book! Im not too chuffed about it being slightly smaller than Goblet of Fire though, I want it bigger than Order of the Phoenix, I hate it when the book is finished, I want them to go on FOREVER. :sorcerer:
OK, Maybe that is a little over enthusiastic, but either way, I CAN'T WAIT Keep writing JK, WE LOVE YA

Hmm... only a first draft by January. Could be longer than you think to get the book out. It's got to go through a whole lot of editing before it will be anywhere near close to being published. I wouldn't expect to see it for, at the very least, another year. Also, it seems to me that, at least with other series books I read, the publishers tend to wait about 4-6 months after the previous book has been released in paperback before they go ahead and release the next one in hardcover, even if it's ready before then. (Although, the other series books I read are adult books, so maybe they do things differently with children's books- one can always hope :0)
I'm not trying to be a party-pooper, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up, so I won't be dissappointed if it takes a long time to come out- but, I still can't wait!!

Even though i think that it may not be true about the first draft. I really really really hope it is!! I have been awaiting the 5th book, and now that it has come I WANT MORE! But i do hope that it is longer than it said it would be. Some people thougth that Oop was too long but i never wanted it to end. If she makes it shorter than GoF than i wont be enough.

hmmm I know maybe Voldie will chop off Harry's right arm and he will have to have it replaced with a robotic arm!!! No.....wait....hmmm...
Hooray if first draft is done by January. I would think final draft and illustrations could take several months, not to mention the publishing. But they might leak the title and release date early next year. how long ago did we know the ootp title and release date?
