Post SnitchSeeker sponsorship deal with Lochaven International

SnitchSeeker has struck a new and exciting sponsorship deal with Lochaven International Ltd, the company that makes the Hogwarts cardigans, jumpers and tank tops which each of the houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin) wear beneath their robes in the Harry Potter films.

The knitwear made by the company has been used by the film-makers since Chamber of Secrets and each piece is individually-tailored to meet specific sizing demands and alterations which occur over the years, as the young actors grow.

Up until recently Lochaven International have only been making these garments for the movies, now however they are selling to the general public and the director, Keith Murray, has reached out to us in order to spread the word about the brilliant clothes they have to offer, that will be of special interest to Harry Potter fans everywhere.

Keith has also exclusively revealed to us today that just this very week, the Deathly Hallows crew have placed an order for several hundred more garments to be made for the final film. While we don't know what specific scenes they will be used for, we can hazard a guess that they may be for the final battle, which is due to begin shooting in a couple months.

Photos of all the items made may be seen here, or you can view them as they are seen in the films below;

All items are available in sizes for men, women and children and they start at £35, with a £10 reduction if the garment is for minors.

Last month I had the good fortune to receive a woman’s Slytherin cardigan, complete with the corresponding grey and green lined pattern around the bottom and the two sleeves. The buttons mean that it’s able to be worn both open and shut and is easily removable. The lambswool is soft to the touch and durable and, most importantly, comfortable to wear. As the clothing doesn’t have any bold logos or lettering, it can also function as everyday wear, as well as coming together as part of a costume for a Halloween or fancy dress celebration at film releases or parties.

Orders can be placed here (or via the advert on our front page), with shipping currently free worldwide.

SnitchSeeker is proud to help promote this fantastic company and their products.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Snitchseeker picked up on a small local news article we did last year and a lot of the members of this site emailled us to ask if we would make them available to the public. I have spoken to a few customers and they really get a kick out of the fact that we only have 10 people who assemble the garments so the person who puts on buttons for their garment also put the buttons on the garment worn by Hermoine, Harry etc. The factory can trace it's roots back to 1565 so there is history and magic there too. We are proud to now be associated with such a well known Harry Potter website as Snitchseeker. I watched the latest movie HBP a few weeks ago and loved how good our knitwear looked especially the Tom Riddle retro tanktop which we made at short notice around Christmas last year. We are currently working on supplying garments for the last two films and it is really fun to be associated with such a worldwide phenomena.
Kind regards
Keith Murray
