SS.com: Who are some people who influence you the most; not just in acting but in general?
Shefali Chowdhury: I am influenced by anyone I can learn from. Whether it's an outlook on life they have or something they might say. I'm stating the obvious there, but my point is I can't narrow it down to specific people.
What are your top 5 favorite CD's/Albums of all time?
My lists are constantly changing. But today I am thinking these 5:
Radiohead - OK Computer
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
The Strokes - Is this it?
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground and Nico
If you had a draught of Polyjuice Potion, enough to last a day, whom would you become?
I could have fun with this one, but I'll keep it people friendly.

I'd become a random farmer in a sunny country wearing a straw hat.
If you could work in one other movie, what would it be and why?
I'll have to be completely unoriginal and say Lord of the Rings because, let's face it, that flick is a work of art!
Or maybe I'd play Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction. I'd like to play her just so I could do THAT dance!
What's your favorite clothing store?
At the moment I love Urban Outfitters, Topshop, H&M. I don't really have a favourite. I like to shop around as every store has something I like, even if it's only one thing...
What's your favorite food?
I love
Spaghetti Bolognese, I never get tired of that! I love mint flavoured ice cream as well. I don't see the big deal about strawberry ice cream. I really
hate the stuff! Hate. Really hate! Grrr.
I like sour electroshocks as well but that would fall under the "sweets" category.
How would you feel about a real twin?
I'm not sure I'd be too happy about sharing the same face as someone else... but I suppose if I grew up with a twin I wouldn't think anything of it.
A lot of people say that my syster and I are like twins. She's only a year older so we have loads in common. She's one of my best friends as well as my sister and stands by me through everything.
My best friends are also uncannily similar to me in personality.
Who's your favorite Indian actor/actress?
I like
Shah Rukh Khan. He's a great actor! I'm sure there are plenty of less well-known Indian actors who are just as good but unfortunately I haven't watched enough Bollywood films to know; but there's definitely a reason why he's the biggest movie star in Bollywood at the moment. It really seems like he puts everything into a performance which makes every character he plays utterly convincing.
Do you have a special collection of something? Fairies, Teddy Bears, etc?
No, sadly. I'd like to say I collect vintage cars or something cool like that. But I do have way too much random junk lying around to start an actual collection.
Funny you mention teddy bears. I was at the supermarket and say a stuffed toy duck lying on a pot of noodles. I bought it, have named it Quack, and now carry it around the house with me.
IMDb lists you playing a Refugee in Kannathil Muthamittal (2002), but uncredited. Can you tell us a bit about that and the movie?
I don't know anything about it though people keep telling me that I'm in it. I'm fairly sure I would know about it if I was... Hey, maybe I do have a twin!
