| | |  Sneak peek at JKR's interview on Jonathan Ross (UPDATED)
J.K. Rowling will appear on 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' on July 6th, on BBC. However, fans can read a snippet from the interview where Rowling talks about writing the last chapter of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Quote:
"Finishing the book is a relief. I can't think of anyone who could know how I felt. Actually finishing it was the most remarkable feeling I've ever had... [I felt] euphoria, devastated, when I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled, it had been planned for so long.
"I was in a hotel room on my own, sobbing my heart out. I downed half a bottle of champagne in one and went home with mascara all over my face. It was really tough."
She also disclosed that Hermione, the heroine of the series, is based on herself and said: "I was quite swotty when I was a kid."

Thanks to HPANA UPDATE: The BBC has a new quote from the interview in which Jo reveals that the last word in Deathly Hallows is no longer "scar". Quote:
"Scar? It was so for ages, and now it's not. Scar is quite near the end, but it's not the last word."

I am sooo scared at reading the last book that I can't stand it. One minute I'm ready to see what happens and then the next, if I don't read it, then it will never happen. I cried when Sirius and Dumbledore left us and now I wonder who I will cry over next!! Quote:
