The welcome message that greets fans when they open the homepage at J.K.Rowling's website has altered slightly from this: Quote:
"...where I can give you hints and clues about what's going to happen to Harry next, and where I can announce I've finished book six... and no, that's not going to happen very soon."
To this: Quote:
"...where I can give you hints and clues about what's going to happen to Harry next, and where I can announce I've finished book seven... and no, that's not going to happen very soon."
Possibly, this could have some impact on when the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince release date will be announced.

My theory is that JKR will make the annoucement on Christmas that the HBP will be coming out in June/July of next year (since all of the books have come out during the summer). Hints have slowly been coming and I think she might be doing a "12 days of Christmas" thing.

wow awesome!! i think the release date will come sometime in Jan...it'll probably be around June or July like others have said! omg! i cant wait for book 6 but at the same time its really sad that the series will soon be coming to an end...oh no!! i wish jk would write 10 hp books!!
