I'm going to see it. I like Gary Oldman. But I hope he has time to play Sirius in GoF.

he looks really old in that picture...extremely different to what he looks like when he's Sirius. I'll probably go see it, i've seen all the other Batman movies.

He does look way older. Actually, I thought that Sirius in PoA looked alot older than I imagined him in my head.

I think that Gary Oldman is a phenominal actor. I've been a long time fan of his. He'll have no problem playing a darker role, he's done so many off-beat characters that proves he has a pretty wide range of talent. Not to mention Christian Bale is going to be the new Batman, this could quite possibly be the best Batman since 1 and 2.

I don't think anyone can deny that the HP series is one of the biggest sets. So I seriously doubt that Gary Oldman is going to pass up GoF for Batman, especially because just about all of the Batman movies after 2 have been flops. If you guys want to see a good one with Oldman in it, check out The Professional (aka "leon" depending on where you are). He plays a pretty dark and interesting character in it.

Theres another movie that has him in it. Its called the Fifth Element. He looks so silly with him half bald. Thats a good movie i would recomend it. Batman doesnt interest me enough to go see it but Yay Gary Oldman! :sorcerer:

[/b][/quote] He kindof is supposed to look older in PoA because he rotted in Azkaban for 12 years... and since he's supposed to be about 37 in the books, that doesn't make him that much older than his character in real life, which I think in real life he is about 46.

gary oldman is probably one of the best actors ever simply because he played Sid Vicious in 1986 in Sid and Nancy: Love Kills, as for looking older, in Dracula (1992) he plays Old/Young Dracula, which in he looks about 80, until he drinks blood and revives himself on the way to london, and Sid and Nancy & Dracula are MUCH MUCH darker than harry potter and batman, considering the excessive needle scenes, shooting up heroine in S&N and cutting himself across the chest with a razor too, neways ive never really liked batman movies but gary kicked bottom as sirius black and will do again in GoF and OotP and maybe book six too???? harry might find a way to contact him, who knows

I'm not a fan of Batman, but if Gary Oldman is going to be in it, I might check it out. My dad loves Gary Oldman because of his darker roles. When I asked my dad who he was when I found out about him playing Sirius, he looked at me shocked that I didnt know, oops! But I think the only thing I've seen him in besides POA is The Professional, and even in that, he's cooky!

But I think Gary Oldman has signed up to Batman because he knows his charactor Sirius Black will die in the fifth book so he knows he will be unemployed after that so he is probably set to star in the next couple of Batman films. Gary Oldman is a good actor and will put his best efforts in both films.

| I really like Gary Oldman. He is a very versatile actor and unlike some actors he plays the character and not himself. He is not supposed to be 37 he's meant to be about 42. I remember one of the characters reading the Daily Prophet in GoF and it mentions "Lucius Malfoy, 42" saying something. He was in the same year as The Maruaders wasn't he?
Anyway I can't wait to see if he is in GoF.
