| | |  Signed Deathly Hallows to be raffled for charity
The Neath Guardian is today reporting that a signed copy of Deathly Hallows has been donated to a raffle to benefit the Special Needs Activity Centre in Port Talbot, Wales. It is estimated to be worth £700 ($1,313.20). Quote:
Dawn Sawyers of SNAC said: “It was donated to us by one of the mums here.
“Her child is autistic and had been invited up to meet JK Rowling at the launch of the book.”

Mrs Sawyers said: “I have been in touch with someone at a book shop in London. They had a copy for sale at £700 but, they said the longer you keep it, the more it will go up in price.”
Tickets will be drawn on September 15th. | |

Thats good. I hope they make some good money for the Charity.
Im sure JKR wont mind as it is for a charity. I know the publishers have told her not to sign books, because of people making money of her name and all that.

that's good, it is always nice to hear that something will be done for charity it brings my heart up when the world seems to be slowly slipping into chaos.  At least we have the small things to look foreword too!
