| | |  Signed Deathly Hallows to aid African Clinic of Hope
Napier University, in Scotland, is holding a fundraiser to benefit the Clinic of Hope in Equatorial Guinea, Central Africa. One of the items in the silent auction is a signed copy of Deathly Hallows. The money raised will be used to buy much-needed medical equipment. Quote:
Monica Gribben, Dyslexia Adviser, Napier University , said: “The Clinic of Hope deals with between 15 and 50 patients per day suffering from conditions including typhoid fever, malaria, HBP and diabetes, and it is desperately short of supplies for its patients. We want to give a helping hand and are hoping this event will make a real difference to the clinic and its patients.
"Our fundraiser is already attracting a considerable amount of interest thanks to the book kindly donated by JK Rowling and I would like to thank her and everyone else who contributed donations in advance of the event."
The auction will take place on April 4th. | |
