Sian Thomas to reprise Amelia Bones role in Deathly Hallows
 

Sian Thomas, who played Amelia Bones in Order of the Phoenix and who is currently starring in the West End musical Spring Awakening in London, England, recently confirmed to a fan that she had recently filmed for Deathly Hallows.

that's great. though, i'm quite sad that's she is only in for a few seconds. but at least she's on the cast list. she's a great actress.

Hang on, I've seen publicity stills and have pictures from the Half Blood Prince that show Hermione reading the paper with that headline...What the fetch??????

Haha, I first read this headline and went "Wait, I thought she died?" :blink: Awww, that's sad that they pulled her back for just a few seconds. But hey, screen time is screen time, right? :P

She dies in the sixth book, btw.

And the trio never enter the Ministry in HBP (the only time the Ministry is shown in the sixth film, according to those who have seen the movie and various features, is at the beginning with Harry and Dumbledore).

Cool. I can't remember her role in Deathly Hallows...I thought she was murdered in Half Blood Prince.

I'm reading HBP right now Amelia Bones dies the week before the book starts and Harry and Dumbledore don't go to the MoM in the beginning of the sixth book. please correct me if I'm wrong though.

Probably, there's a change of events in Deathly Hallows (just a little) like what they did in the previous films adaptation of the Harry Potter novels.

and remember: The Burrow was already attacked in HBP so there's no wedding at the Burrow.

I have a bigger picture of that shot of Hermione reading the newspaper, and it does mention the fact that Amelia Bones was murdered in her home.

Things change for the films.

There is a wedding, we're just not sure where. Or whose it is, for that matter.

Just to hear that they'll be putting the Ministry of Magic part in makes me really happy =] (Not that they would pull MoM out anyway....)
