well, according to IMdb, Emma isn't leaving. She's attached to the role of Hermione until the end of movie 6. She decides after that.
...She was probably just trying to "sike" everyone out, make everything all dramatic. Either that or she just doesn't want to do the "intimate" scenes with Rupert.
