SHOP.COM today announced that free copies of Deathly Hallows will be sent to all SHOP.COM customers who place orders of $100 or more on the site starting July 1st 2007. There is also the opportunityto ship it to anyone the consumer chooses or donate it to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Quote:
“As Harry Potter fans around the world eagerly await the July 21st release date, we wanted to take this time and reward our loyal customers with a little magic of our own – a free copy of J.K. Rowling’s final installment,” said Mondy Beller, senior vice president of marketing for SHOP.COM. “Without leaving their home or office, Muggles everywhere can now easily buy from our entire selection of Harry Potter products or any of our apparel, home or beauty offerings and receive a free copy of this keenly anticipated book. The only hard decision for our customers will be whether or not to keep the book for themselves.”
The offer expires at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Tuesday July 31st 2007, or when 10,000 orders have been received, whichever comes first.  | |
