The San Francisco Chronicle has some new quotes from Dan Radcliffe, regarding friendship & his career. Quote:
"Everyone needs friendship," Dan Radcliffe said emphatically, sitting in a suite at Claridge's Hotel. "Everybody needs solid, trustworthy friends. I am lucky to have this. I matured quickly. Most of my friends are adults. My best friend is a man called Will. He looks after my costumes on the set. When we met he was 35 and I was 11. He is now 41 with two children. We have been on a very big journey together."

"Theater is a completely different discipline from film. The techniques are very different. I've worked two years to be able to be onstage and the experience was phenomenal. I love that stage is so immediate." After a pause, Dan added: "But I still think I prefer film work. I don't think I could deal with the pressure of theater all the time."

"I am interested in anything that is different, that will challenge me. When I look at a new role, I keep asking myself: 'What in this part is going to do that I haven't done before?'
