Rupert Grint was interviewed recently by Total Film magazine, in which he spoke about the more adult scenes in his upcoming feature, Cherrybomb, his thoughts on the last Harry Potter book, Deathly Hallows and how much Ron Weasley has matured throughout the books. It can be read here.

That whole "is Ron going to emerge stronger than Harry" thing, what the heck was that? NOBODY emerged stronger than Harry in the end.  | |

Actually, there were points after the trio were informed about the Deathly Hallows where Ron did start to take charge, remember? Harry fell into an isolated state of obsessing over the Hallows, and Ron had to encourage the trio to continue hunting Horcruxes. He changed a great deal after he came back and destroyed the locket.

Awww love how Rupert says they all have a close relationship- that's just so sweet. As for what he said about thinking one of them wasnt going to make it. Before DH book had come out, I was so scared it was going to be Hermione more out of the 3-maybe because she is so important to both Ron and Harry- Ron's love and Harry's sis. Then again there were also days where I thought it was going to be Ron!!! JK Rowling def had us all guessing that was for sure! Cant wait for DH's!!!!!!!  First tho, bring on HBP!!!

Besides the ones you've listed, and some of the top executives at Warner Bros., the split is probably going to be the biggest secret kept with the Deathly Hallows films.
