Tabloids make up stuff because that's what they are in the business for. That's how they make money. It's like the paparazzi. They make money off trashing people and it's terrible, but they do it and people actually buy into it. They don't care if you're nice or not. In fact, if you're nice, all the better because that means that image is destroyed and it's going to have more of an impact to do so.

You know, even though I thought the Lindsay Lohan/Paris Hilton thing was amusing, I honestly couldn't imagine Rupert Grint ever saying such a thing in public, no matter what he thought about either of them.

Good for him! He needs to take a stand now against these tabloids who consider themselves "journalists." He seems to understand that it's also about other people as well. Regardless of whether it is Lohan and Hilton, Rupert knows that they misquoted him trashing LA and those other two. It's admirable of him, and it sets a precedent that he's not going to allow the tabloids to do whatever they want. I have so much respect for him as an actor and a person.
