As we previously told you, Rupert Grint filmed a sketch for Red Nose Day 2005. tread_softly_snape informs me that he was on the 6:15PM show which was aired on BBC Two.
Apparently he played bogeys in the National Gallery and he won.
As Sara Cox did not appear - and she was the one who'd said she'd filmed with him - this leads us to believe Rupert will be in the final which is scheduled to air on March the 11th at 7:30PM.
However, the DDB site appears to be being updated regularly - including videos and pictures, so watch this space! Hopefully we'll have some footage/pictures or both, very soon!
I've been told the following about his appearance:- Quote:
* This particular sketch took place in the day at the National Picture Gallery in London
* Rupert wore his mentalist t-shirt which was black with green writing and light blue baggy jeans
* When they ran inside, it was full of old people and serious art lovers who were all admiring paintings
* Rupert started the game by going up to this group of people, standing very closely next to them and saying 'bogeys' in a relatively normal voice. They turned around and give him a look
* Rupert and Dom then moved around the Gallery, doing the same thing over and over only getting louder and louder each time
* By that time people were beginning to get annoyed and it even looked like they might've been thrown out of the Gallery at one point!
* In the end Rupert shouted 'bogeys' really loudly and won the game because Dom couldn't shout again, probably because he was in hysterics
* The whole time Rupert was pretending to be a serious art lover and stood examining the pictures, stroking his chin while he shouted 'bogeys'
The point of the game is to shout 'bogeys' in a public place until one person can't do it anymore. As Rupert was the last to say the word and because Dom bottled out in the end, Rupert won and will most likely feature in the final. So, it turns out there's 2 Comic Relief related things? Dic and Dom in da Bungalow and the separate sketches which are aired on BBC Two! Arrggh.
I really don't understand the BBC. It would've been to their advantage to advertise this more clearly. Gutted doesn't even describe what I feel right now.

yeah no problem, but the bbc two thing my sister tells me if definately part of dic and dom tooo??????i have no idea why they split it up and swapped channels but they did!

Oh. I meant there's two sorts of variations. Because the people on BBC 1 weren't playing 'bogeys' so they couldn't possibly be in the 'bogeys' final. And they were in the bungalow and the BBC 2 lot weren't.
Do you get me?

I have that channel and know very well how the game goes, seen it played many times by Dic and Dom, but sadly I missed when Rupert had to play it, oh well i know there is going to be a final and hopefully Rupert is on it so I can watch him play it!!!!

Ah I saw the video and...ok don’t kill me, but it was boring, maybe it is an English comedy but it was kind of boring to tell you the truth I was really waiting for something funnier since Rupert was involve in it, but it was boring and not that funny.

Yeah, the British have a different type of humor than us American's, but I love it. But then I guess I do have that type of humor. Sarcastic, dry, etc., etc. I haven't gotten the video to work for me yet, but I so want to see it.  *crossing fingers that it starts working*

I saw it tonight and it was quite funny especially when that woman gave Rupert a dirty look. I'm surprised they could do it they were laughing so much, they must have been psyching themselves up before hand. Good on him for doing it.

That was so funny. My friends and I do something like that once a month just for fun. We call it our girls only day. It's about 8 of us and we all put different colored tape on are face's and arms... Then we go to a store in town and run around inside playing tag. The last time we went to wal-mart and none of the store people said anything to us. I was shocked but it's all in good fun. If we see that we are bothering someone we stop or go someplace else.... I bet Rupert had a blast. I wish I could have played to... It looks like so much fun. | |
