| | |  Rupert Grint & Emma Watson donate clothes to charity auction (UPDATE #5)
Rupert Grint & Emma Watson have donated items of their own clothing to Sense (a charity for the deafblind) who are holding an online auction. The articles are currently up for bid on eBay.
Rupert has given a jacket which he wore to the New York Goblet of Fire premiere & to the 2006 NME awards. That can be found here and is currently going for less than £20!
Emma has donated a DKNY t-shirt and waistcoat, that can be found here and is currently going for less than £10!
Both auctions ends on March 7th.
Thanks to RupertGrint.net for the tip! UPDATE: We've now been told that Emma Thompson (Trelawney) has also donated an item - a jacket signed by Aerosmith! Thanks to Leaky News for the tip! UPDATE #2: It seems some doubted the authenticity of this story and so wrote in to Emma Watson's official website, who have clarified that this auction is 100% genuine. Thanks to The Daily Snitcher for the tip! UPDATE #3: Thanks to MuggleBornWitch3 for letting us know that the items have been removed and should be considered 'cancelled'. We are getting in touch with the charity involved to find out why. UPDATE #4: According to RG.net, Rupert's jacket was sold to an anonymous bidder for £1,120. According to EW.net the final bid for Emma's clothes was £2,050. UPDATE #5: The auction is rescheduled due to fraudulent bidding. Story here.  | |
