| | |  Rupert Grint & Al Murray have a banter
Rupert Grint, along with Oliver & James Phelps (Fred & George Weasley) recently attended the recording of a show called, 'An Audience with Al Murray' at ITV Towers. A snippet from the show has been revealed in a newspaper featuring the Potter star.
The following piece appeared in The Express, quoting Al Murray and Rupert during the recording of the show, which will be aired on ITV sometime this year - we still don't know yet when it will air but I will tell you as soon as I know  Quote:
IN AN age when binge drinking is top of the agenda it is heartening to see comedian Al Murray encouraging minors to indulge. At An Audience With Al Murray, Harry Potter star Rupert Grint was the victim of Britain's most-opinionated landlord. "How old are you?" Murray asked Grint in front of the celeb-packed audience including Frank Skinner and Edwina Currie. 'Sixteen, " Grint replied. "No, how old are you, son?" continued Murray. "Twenty-one, " Grint squeaked. "No son, that is not going to convince anyone, " screamed Murray. "How old are you?" "Erm, 18, " concluded Grint. "Good boy. Now buy yourself a pint."

The irony being, he can drink in the company of adults, being 16+, he just can't purchase his own.

It's to be expected when you do 'An Audience with...' with a comedian. Those shows require audience participation and Rupert will have been aware of that through his agent most likely. Plus, as he's in Harry Potter, something nationally famous, it would've been more than likely that they'd pick on him.

Good answers Roo!  It only shows that while Rupert is very shy, it doesnt mean he's not witty.
He easily got what the comedian meant, and the answer required from him when he was asked a second, and a third time about his age.

As I said, no idea yet but will keep you informed. I think it might be at least a few weeks time. "An Audience with Joe Pasquale" only just recently aired and they don't show to "An Audience with..." type shows in a short space of time, normally.
