| | |  Rupert at the First Light Film Awards
Rupert Grint was one of the celebrity judges at the 3rd Annual First Light Film Awards which took place yesterday in the Odeon on Leicester Square, in London. The awards celebrate films made by British children.
A video report from the event can be viewed here - just click on the link and it'll open in Real Player for you.
Rupert says, Quote:
"It really gives kids a professional sort of show."
The Scotsman also has a story on the event as well as a video. The video clips are at that link and can be viewed in QuickTime, Real Player & Windows Media. Quote:
Rupert Grint said: "It's wicked because I sort of started out quite young when I was 11 and it's such a good experience, it's really good fun so it's good to see like younger ones as well getting into film."
A picture of Rupert at the awards can be seen here - although I will see if better ones become avaliable as the day goes on.
Other judges included Jude Law and Sir Ian McKellen.

But i would like to see them in some non-hp movies 2! Yeah I Love everything HP. I was just saying I hope the actors and actresses continue working after HP is over. Things like this (The First Light Film Awards) might help them attain more rolls when HP is over. It will look good on there resume.

Rupert has had several other roles. He did a Peter Pan Documentary, he voiced on Radio for Molesworth and had a role in the film, 'Thunderpants'.

I just found out yesterday that a friend of mine was there for that. Don't know how he got in or whatever but he meet Rupert and Sir Ian McKellen. And he got their autographs. If I can I'll get a pic of the autograph and post it, if my friend'll let me. He kept teasing me and I was telling him how lucky he was. Now we've made a pact to go to the premiere of GOF if we can...he has all the luck with meeting celebs!!
