| | |  Rumour: 750 pages in book 7 so far
The Daily Mirror and The Times note that J.K.Rowling recently attended a tea party to celebrate the premiere of ' Driving Lessons'.
She reportedly told a journalist at the event that book 7 was "up to about 750 pages" at the moment. This would make it just shorter than ' Order of the Phoenix' (the longest Potter book so far), which has 766 pages in the British edition. Quote:
“I’m up to about 750 pages now, but I’m not telling anyone what happens to Harry,” she says. “I’ve just come along to support Rupert who’s absolutely terrific in Driving Lessons.”

I would be happy if she added more pages. I love reading her work, and I think a big, fat juicy novel full of answers is what we deserve for reading her work this long. I loved OotP, hopefully this one is just as good!
