J.K.Rowling has contributed her suggestions for ' Great Books to Read Aloud', a new book by Jacqueline Wilson. Her recommended authors include C.S.Lewis, Dr.Seuss, Sarah Boynton, Lynley Dodd and Julia Donaldson. Simon Mayo, a DJ for BBC Radio 1, also contributed; his suggestion was the Harry Potter novels by the wonderful JKR.

Nice reccomendations. I'd say definitely CS Lewis and of course, HP. My sister and I have read the Harry Potter series aloud to each other. Very fun.

She has great taste - both my children and me love Dr Seuss, Lynley Dodd and Julia Donaldson! I read The Chronicles of Narnia when I was young and absolutely loved them.
