The Knight News, produced by the students at Queens College in New York, has compiled a list of cinemas greatest sidekicks. In the top 100, Ron Weasley came in at 37th & Hermione Granger came in at 36th.
37. *Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) - The Harry Potter films. Why him? Because it's tough living in Harry's shadow, but don't worry Ron, we read book V and your day is coming.
36. *Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) - The Harry Potter films. Memorable Quote: "Now, if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed. Or worse, expelled."
They have also dubbed Rupert Grint's portrayal of Ron & Emma Watson's portrayal of Hermione, as 'Career Best Performances'.

Hahahahahha I was on SS for one minute before a new story came up! lol yay <3 Cool, Hermione beat Ron! teehehe And yes, that happens to be my fav quote  AND YAY! Yay! Go both Ron/Rupert and Hermione/Emma! And it's about time that Rupert gets some recognition for his acting performance. It's usually Emma or Dan that always gets the spotlight from stuff like this, so it's nice when you read about Rupert. | |

A great HERO always needs great sidekicks, good for Hermione (Emma) and Ron (Rupert)...but I think they should have ranked higher than 36th and 37th place..oh well still good..

wow tha it is great!!!!! they really are my favorites! I love hoy Rupert portrays Ron he does an excellent job, I love when he says "Brilliant!"...and Emma does such a great job like Hermione...and that it is my favorite quote too!...They really have done a great job.

Oh, as much as I love Ron, I have to agree. Sam is absolutely the best sidekick. Sean Astin absolutely *stole* the movie in RotK.
