Ever since Harry and the Potters began rocking Potter fans back in 2002, several other wizard rock groups have followed suit, with an estimated 100 performing today such as Draco and the Malfoys, and Ginny and the Heartbreakers. Last summer, filmmakers Megan and Mallory Schuyler followed some of these bands on tour for their film Wizard Rockumentary: A Movie about Rocking and Rowling.
The twin sisters plan to release their documentary in film festivals later this year and arent too concerned that the release of the final Harry Potter book this summer will dampen the spirits of the bands or their fans.
According to Megan: Quote:
I think it's going to explode even more. The fans will have new material to work from and a finality that will give a freedom to continue the characters for themselves.
