ok, i think the reason they weren't wearing robes in those pictures is because they were just rehearsing the scenes and the pictures were just of the rehearsal. ok, well I don't know. Just an idea

Im still againt the whole idea of not having robes... I think the movie will just be kinda retarded without the robes...

those pictures are not from rehearsal...they now have them on the official website! ONCE AGAIN FOR THE FIRST PERSON WHO POSTED ON THIS STORY(the person"MAD") THE ROBES ARE STILL IN THE MOVIE!!!!!!! the only reason they are wearing regular clothes in those pics is b/c they are scenes taking place on the weekend and/or after skool hours...they arent always wearing their robes in the first two movies either, so there is no problem having them do that in this one too. I know that they weren't wearing "hip clothes" but i think that they are becoming teenagers, and those clothes are nessecary. When you are younger, you dont wear cool clothes really. But when you become a teenager, you start to wear different clothing. so please, stop being so stiff everybody! you should expect AND accept change. AND ANYWAYS ITS NOT THAT BIG OF A CHANGE!!!! THEY STILL HAVE ROBES FOR CLASSES AND THE MOST OF THE MOVIE! SO TAKE CHILL PILLS EVRYONE, AND CALM DOWN!

well thats good. when i first saw those other pics where the wearing regular clothes i thought it was just 1 scence. aparaletly it is. personally i wouldnt care if they were or wernt in the wizzard clothes. it really wouldnt have ruined the movie.

ok, i still say that those pictures are from rehearsal or something. Becuase if you look at them in one Draco's hair isn't greased back like it usually is and Hermione's hair isn't done all curly and crimped like they usually do it. I may be wrong. Alfonso may have decided to go anatural and let the actors just wear their normal clothes and normal hair but I dunno.

Maybe they are at Hogsmeade and they are wearing their regular clothes because they don't have to wear their school robes at Hogsmeade

listen i've got a comment about these new costumes.as u know in book 4 the witches + wizards r suposed to be wearing muggle clothes while thy're gona go to the quiditch world cup,so haphazardly as though they're really weird to them.so there will be some problem for the next director to make this scene up.

It could the "style." I mean, I've seen plenty of cheerleaders who wear spike-collar bracelets, and I myself am a bit of a punk, but I still actually wear a skirt. So, don't take that one the wrong way: I'm just saying, stereotypes can be wrong. So, maybe the director could say that the younger witches and wizards are a bit more aware of the muggle world that their parents are.

I kno I'm the only 1 that thinks this, but Harry, Ron, and Hermione look less kiddish wearing regular clothes, and they R 13. Maybe Alfonso wanted 2 show they were growing up or sumthing? And they can't alwayz b wearing robes, can they? When I reads the books infact I hardly ever picture them with robes, plus JK seems 2 think Aldonso doing it alright bcuz she hasnt sid anything, right....just a thought no 1 has 2 agree with me...

Cuaron is just trying to make this movie authentic by letting them wear their own clothes during the weekends. And anyways, it never says that Hermione doesnt have a fashion sense- shes a muggle-born and owuld know how to dres ,as well as harry! SAMe with Ron, as his dad is always with muggles....THe draco thing is a little weird, but its like i said before, Cuarons trying to make HIS harry potter movie authentic! It shouldnt matter at all- the thing we should be looking for is the emotional suspense and impact the movie has on us, and how ture he stays to the book- NOT the clothes they are wearing!

i agree with you guys about how draco's hair is down and everything..hmm..i'm not too sure about that either. But the clothes draco's wearing aren't really..'muggle-like' It kinda looks like the black cloak that his father wears in COS. lol *matrix looking*
