In a recent interview with Manchester Online, Robbie Coltrane who plays Hagrid in the first four Potter films, reveals that he is unsure about a return for 'Order of the Phoenix'. Quote:
It was his children who helped convince him to take the role of Rubeus Hagrid, the half giant gamekeeper in the Harry Potter films. His own education may explain why Hagrid is so happy to live outside the walls of Hogwarts. "Having been to public school, I would really hate to go to jail."

He reveals he's yet to sign up for the fifth Harry Potter film, to be made next year. "We don't know yet. It's not negotiated yet."

I sooo agree,the movies won't be the same without him, i just can't imagine someone else playing this character  ,he must stay but unfortunately we can do nothing about that  :

Aw, that would really be awful if he left. He was one of those characters that was so straight out of the book that it was exactly how I imagined him.

Geez, it's hard to believe that around this number of movies, a lot of the cast may not come back. I really hope that he signs up to do it. He's too good for the role.

awww...i really hope he comes back for ootp. he's so good in playing hagrid. he's one of the actors that stay true to the character that rowling wrote.
