Yesterday we told you that Rob Knox's (Marcus Belby in
Half-Blood Prince) attacker had been found guilty of his murder. Karl Bishop has today been
given a life sentence for that conviction.
Bishop attacked Knox
last May in a bar brawl in Kent, England, that cost the actor his life when he attemped to protect his younger brother. Bishop will serve a minimum of 20 years before being considered for parole.
He was also found guilty of wounding four other individuals, for which he will serve three further concurrent life sentences. Bishop denied both the murder and the counts of wounding.
