| | |  Report from festival screening of 'Driving Lessons'
' Driving Lessons', a new film starring Rupert Grint and Julie Walters, was screened today at the Dublin Film Festival. Julie Walters attended and participated in a public interview.
Ciaran from Mugglenet attended the event and has reported back on what happened. Quote:
Ciaran says, "It was a moving story, I really liked it. Rupert's acting was shaky at the start but he got a lot better as the film progressed. Julie Walters was amazing."
He rated the film as 9/10 and informed us that the film contains Rupert's first on-screen kiss....and other things!
Tidbits from the day can be read here and pictures of Julie with fans can be seen at the same link.
Amongst other things, Julie said "Rupert is an excellent actor."

I am glad both boys had their first on screen kiss, someone said it that it lasted 10 seconds, and the movie implies that they do more than kiss but you don't see those scenes but you kind of understand what went on between Rupert's character and his grilfriend.

Who told you that patty? Sounds interesting though tasteful. I much prefer it when stuff is implied. A lot can be said for saying something without showing it, if you know what I mean. That kind of fits in with the 'coming of age' theme. I don't think either boy's films will get a rating below 12.

Truly can't wait to see this movie. I'm on tenterhooks because I've heard that Rupert swears and I'm not talking and KISSES a girl in the movie.
