| | |  REMINDER: Dan Radcliffe on TV tonight
Last night was the taping of Dan Radcliffe’s appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross – the show will air on BBC1 tonight at 10:40 p.m. Here’s a few things Dan had to say during the show about his role in Equus: Quote:
It's not that I want to distance myself from Harry Potter. The whole point of doing something different is to show that you can, so hopefully it's achieved that ... in any case, given this opportunity, you would be really dumb to turn it down.
There were ridiculous stories in the papers about me doing seven hours a day in the gym ... I'm not that committed.
I wasn't so much intimidated by the part ... even though I would be naked on stage and that was scary ... but by the thought of going on stage and sustaining the energy for two-and-a-half hours.
Dan also mentioned the Harry Potter films: Quote:
I'm going to do all seven, I was 11 at the start and I'll be 20 by the end. I genuinely think these films have got better and better.

Being naked in a play is about being a performer and is therefore classed as an art, so no, there are no laws against being naked in an acting role. He is also the age of consent in the UK.
I think it's refreshing that Dan is trying to explore his talent further, and show to all that there is more to life than playing 'Harry Potter' not that the stigma won't be there for a long long time, it definately will, but it shows he can do more than play one part and if he wants a full long-term career in acting, then it something that he has to do.
Right, well I'm off to watch Jonathan Ross, I love that guy, he's very funny.
