| | | Ralph Fiennes talks GoF & will do OotP Coming Soon has a new interview with Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) in which he discusses ' Goblet of Fire' and confirms that he's committed to do ' Order of the Phoenix'. Quote:
Of course, the question is whether Fiennes will stick around for the last movie, assuming that Voldemort will play an even bigger role in the finale. Considering that J.K. Rowling hasn't finished writing it yet and no one knows who might end up directing it, would Fiennes be interested in returning as Voldemort?
"I guess it's always going to be like that," Fiennes told ComingSoon.net "I have to say that I never know who's going to direct me, but I think they've chosen [well].
Certainly Alfonso Cuaron lifted the whole filmmaking onto another level, and I think that Mike Newell is going to make a really strong film. I think as long as the producers are smart.
I think probably the first two films were a little too saccharine and glib, even for Harry Potter fans."
Quote:
He's also already dubbed his voice for the related computer game for "Goblet of Fire".
Additionally Ralph appeared on Live With Regis and Kelly yesterday morning and very briefly discussed his role as Lord Voldemort. The transcript can be read here courtesy of Rupert Online. A picture of him making an impression of Voldemort can be here. A video of his appearance can be seen here courtesy of VTM.

Hehe, the pic's great! But right now I'm hoping that while doing that move he was thinking "This is not my real look! This is just to make fans happy and to be unspoilerish."
Thanks for the interview Emma! I think he'll make a great Voldy. Yeah I think that's exactly what he was doing. Playing up to the camera is a term of phrase that comes to mind. Quote:
He thinks COS was too long but GOf is goin to be about the same length!
No, that was me. CoS was 2 and 3/4 hours long and GoF has been estimated at 2 hours and 15 mins. Quote:
But have u guys notice that they toally don't show peeves the ghost any more.
Anymore? Peeves has never been in the films.

Cool...i really hate it when theres a series and a certain person plays a role, and then they switch the ppl around... its like Daytime soaps, u get to know one person from a show and u like that actor/actress for that part, and then they switch the person, its ridiculus...ok sry im just rambling on about how i hate it when ppl switch ppl for a certain show/movie
lol They don't do that on purpose on soaps. The actors use soaps as a stepping stone and leave... or they'll get fired. But they try not to do that in movies at all. I mean, it was a little hard with Richard Harris since he *died*, but they haven't done that with any major character yet. Quote:

Maybe they meant Nearly Headless Nick? I hope they decide to do Peeves in OotP because he was *brilliant*. Not that he's essential, mind you, but dangit. He was fun!

i think mike newell is going to do an excellent job judging on all the interviews i've read the preview that's already out. he's supposed to be making it more of a fast movie than the others. i think he's focusing on the adventure. it would actually be hard not to considering with what he's got to work with.

awesome I hate it when they change characters in a series all though, they had to replace the original Dumbledore seeing as he died.

I was so glad when I heard that Fiennes was taking the part of Voldemort, but I'm telling you, they're going to have to use a LOT of makeup on him before it gets convincing! He's just too darn good-looking! ;-)
