| | |  Raincoast reveal plans for DH release
Raincoast, the Canadian publishers for Harry Potter, have revealed some information about the plans that they have for the release of Deathly Hallows this summer. Quote:
"The last time, in 2005, [there were] something in the order of 300 events and parties on the opening weekend across Canada. This time, we're expecting probably about 400-plus," Broadhurst said.
Quote:
On July 21, Raincoast will publish two hardcover versions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: one featuring cover art for youth readers and another with a cover targeting adults. Random House of Canada will also release the audio edition of the book that day.
Raincoast's planned Canadian gift edition, featuring slightly different artwork, and a large-print version will likely be released in the summer.
Gaillimard Jeunesse, which publishes the French-language editions of the Potter titles in Canada, has not yet announced when it will issue its version of the final tome.
Raincoast declined to say any more about their plans, saying that it's "a little early". And, like Bloomsbury, the UK publishers of Harry Potter, Raincoast have decided NOT to state the figure for their initial print-run of Deathly Hallows.

The difference between the two covers is that the kids' cover has like a cartoonish cover and the adult one is like a portrait or picture type thing. it's more like adult looking basically. if you go online, you will find the different covers that have come out so far for the books. the adult one doesn't look as fun as the kids'. but the text in the books is the same.
