Yeah, shame what was an amazing, fascinating character in the book was reduced down to spewing off a few one liners in OOTP....kind of like Rupert's been treated since the second film!

You raise an interesting point there, we didn't actually SEE Mad-Eye die in the book, we just heard it from Bill. I would actually love to SEE, maybe if it's only somehow incorporated into flashback, a particular other 3 deaths that weren't physically shown in the book, we were just given bodies. With every last chunk of book that's been cut away, and every piece that's been added that didn't really need to be (Cho supposedly returning in HBP for instance), I personally want these characters to get the send off they deserve.
