In a recent interview with The Sun Theo Walcott, a player for the Arsenal football team, spoke about his connection to the Harry Potter universe. Quote:
He explained: “My auntie Yvonne is engaged to Harry Potter director David Yates.
“There was a chance I was going to appear in the last film, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, possibly playing Quidditch.
“Unfortunately, because of training commitments, I wasn’t available for filming. But my mum, dad and my brother Ashley are all in a crowd scene in the film and my girlfriend Mel is in a scene with Hermione in the next one.
“I’ve met Daniel Radcliffe a few times and he’s a great lad. I went to see him in Equus at the theatre but I’m definitely not planning to move in Hollywood circles.”

i know Dan and Theo met at the National Portrait Gallery, both having their photographs displayed, i'd also seen Theo at the OoP prem. Wasn't aware that this was the connection. He seems a down to earth young footballer. Not something you can say about many footballers!
