This week’s quote comes from Rupert Grint during an interview with the Sacramento Bee.

Rupert: Actually, my name was the one that my parents pulled out of the hat. Really. There were other names they put in this hat, and they pulled out 'Rupert' first.
He goes on in the interview to talk about living at home with his family, what music is on his iPod and briefly mentions his first “offscreen” kiss.

I think that is a brilliant and inventive way to name a child. I wonder if that is the way they picked the names for all their children. Mr and Mrs. Grint that is the coolest thing I ever heard. My grandmother would have loved the idea, as she had seven children herself. She had ran out of names by the time my mom was born, so she looked up at the doctor and said, "You name her." So he did just that. The way you recieve your name can be as cool and informative as the name itself. Again brilliant.
