Matthew Lewis recently opened up about how awkward an experience it was to play the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix video game, as he lent his voice to his alter-ego, Neville Longbottom. Quote:
"I only got the fifth one to check out the voice that I've done - it's kind of weird and made me uncomfortable," he said.
"It's an odd experience playing a game that you're in, I don't like it that much. My mates seem to enjoy it very much, they used to play it all the time but it's probably to annoy me."
There is no word yet on if Matthew will lend his voice for the Deathly Hallows games. | |

Matt*has* to do the DH games, if there is one game title Neville should feature largely on it should be this set. its true that he sounds a little lost and unsure, but i'm chucking that to lack of directing. when you're recording you'll never know how it will turn out until they play it, and then it will even change once they apply the voice over to the game.

It WOULD be awkward! But that game was AMAZING!  That was the first game where you could actually roam around a completed Hogwarts and the whole range of the grounds, not just tidbits. And it looks like it does in the films!
I remember in an interview, Emma was talking about how her younger brother enjoyed played the game because he could levitate benches and throw them at her.  | |

I can definitely see where it would be weird to hear/play yourself in a video game. Of course, I am utterly dreadful at them so I could see myself getting killed frequently, and wouldn't that be weird. *laughs*
