Actor Jason Isaacs (Lucius) was recently interviewed about his work on the show Brotherhood and the Harry Potter films. He talks about various fan encounters he's had with children who don't believe he plays Lucius Malfoy in the series: Quote:
“Grownups force their children on me,” Isaacs said and then laughed. “They’ll tell their children that I play Lucius Malfoy, and the children say, ‘No, you don’t.’ And then the adult goes, ‘Do the voice, do the voice!’ So I do the voice and the child says, ‘That’s not what he sounds like!’ And then I want the earth to swallow me up.”
Jason briefly discusses what it's like playing Lucius in the films: Quote:
On the set of ‘Harry Potter,’ I relish the opportunity to chew the scenery up and be as big of a ham as I can imagine. And I look around the set and I’m surrounded by my heroes, and it’s like we’re all dressed up for a fantastic Halloween party.”
